Obituary for Alan J. Brown

Alan J. Brown 59, of Belmar, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 17th.

Alan was born and raised on the Jersey Shore. In his career, he was devoted to car insurance and finance. He was an avid golfer and a fan of the Giants, the Florida Seminoles, the Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen. He enjoyed cooking and barbecuing. He loved the boardwalk, the beach, and living at the shore. He adored his family and especially spoiling and taking great care of his nephews. He will be dearly missed.

Alan is predeceased by his father, Albert Brown.

He is survived by his mother, Janet Brown; his siblings, Richard Brown and his wife Patty, Edward Brown, Jennifer Brown, and Emily Cooper and her husband, David; his nephews, Alec, Alby, Harry, and Myles Brown; and sister- in-law, Kelly Brown.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 18th 2:00 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Interment will immediately follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
